Mit speciale er behandling af babyer og børn op til 12 år med osteopati, fysioterapi & naturmedicin. Jeg har arbejdet med manuel behandling af babyer & børn siden 1997 & naturmedicinsk behandling af babyer & børn siden 2002.

Mit arbejde i klinikken består også af efteruddannelse & supervision af mine kolleger. Sideløbende med klinikarbejdet efteruddanner jeg osteopater i børnebehandling samt holder foredrag om børnebehandling for osteopater & andre sundhedsprofessioner i ind- & udland. Jeg holder også foredrag for forældre og div interessegrupper.

Jeg er stolt mor til 4 vidunderlige unger og elsker at tilegne mig ny viden.

Der bliver ikke fokuseret nok på de udfordringer som gravide kvinder og kvinder der har født, kan opleve, hvilket kan resultere i langvarige smerter og store gener, hvis ikke de får optimal behandling. Optimal behandling kræver en kombination af manuel behandling, vejledning i øvelser og træning, sund livsstil samt øget mental trivsel. Jeg har derudover stor erfaring med behandling af sports- og overbelastningsskader, hovedpine og migræne, samt stressrelaterede gener.

Da jeg blev færdig som Osteopat i 2016, fandt jeg hurtigt ud af, at jeg skulle specialisere mig inden for kvinder, babyer og børn, og det er et enormt privilegie, at få lov til at arbejde med mit interesseområde hver eneste dag.

Mit speciale er behandling af kvinder og babyer/børn, da jeg altid har stor interesse for denne patientgruppe. Behandlingen af spædbørn er meget kompleks og det kræver efteruddannelse for at være i stand til at kunne undersøge og behandle forsvarligt og effektivt.

Jeg har derfor valgt at videreuddanne mig gennem kurser, for at kunne hjælpe de små bedst muligt og være opdateret på nyeste viden. Mange af mine kvindelige patienter kommer med bækkenrelaterede gener fra før, under og efter graviditet og det er fantastisk at være medvirkende til at afhjælpe deres smerter.

Derudover ser jeg mange gynækologiske patienter, da er jeg så heldig at have et tæt tværfagligt samarbejde med gynækolog Henrik Vittrup. Hjemme er jeg så heldig at være mor til to skønne piger som fylder min hverdag med glæde.

Mit speciale er behandling af kvinderelaterede problematikker, babyer og børn. Derudover har jeg flere års erfaring med behandling af hovedpine og sportsskader. Jeg har arbejdet med manuel behandling siden 2008 og har løbende taget kurser og efteruddannelser.

Jeg brænder for at arbejde med kvinder og børn og søger fortsat at tillægge mig endnu mere viden inden for dette speciale. I forbindelse med mit arbejde vægter jeg specielt nærvær, dedikation og høj fagliglighed.

Mit speciale er behandling af babyer, børn, teenagere samt kvinderelaterede problematikker som fx bækkensmerter, kraftige menstruationssmerter og endometriose. Siden 2007 har jeg samlet stor erfaring som manuel behandler. Jeg elsker at tilegne mig ny faglige viden, og har derfor oftest gang i udvikling indenfor et specifikt område.

Gennem mange år har jeg behandlet hovedpine og migræne med god effekt hos både børn og voksne. Derudover har jeg masser af uddannelse indenfor behandling og træning af nakke-, skulder- og knæsmerter.

Jeg ser helhedsorienteret på kroppen og søger at finde årsagen til symptomerne og skabe en ændring i samarbejde med klienten. Jeg arbejder med manuelle teknikker kombineret med træningsvejledning, så du som klient aktivt kan være med til at opnå varig bedring.

Min erfaring som fysioterapeut favner bredt. Jeg både har genoptrænet børn der gerne ville tilbage til deres sport, den erhvervsaktive med smerter i skulder/nakke region, samt den ældre der ønskede at vedligeholde sin gangfunktion, for at bevare kvalitet og selvstændighed i hverdagen.

Mange kvinder oplever at må skrue ned eller måske endda stoppe med deres fysiske aktivitet, af den ene eller anden årsag.

Jeg brænder for at hjælpe dig, der oplever smerter, ubehag eller andre problemer som forhindrer dig i at leve det aktive liv du drømmer om efter graviditet, sygdom eller skader. Ligeledes brænder jeg for at hjælpe babyer som oplever problemer i de aller første leveår.

Mit fokus er at få dig tilbage til en hverdag, uden smerter og hvor der ikke er nogen begrænsninger ved fysisk aktivitet, eller måske være med til at åbne døren for et nyt eventyr med fysisk aktivitet. For en graviditet, smerter i knæet eller noget helt tredje skal ikke være en stopper for en hverdag med frihed.

 Jeg har en baggrund som professionel atlet inden for atletik, og jeg ved hvad det betyder når kroppen siger fra og det ikke er muligt at gøre til man vil grundet smerter. Om man er professionel atlet eller nyder at løbe en tur i skoven et par gange om ugen, er det præcis den samme frustration man føler når man ikke kan gøre de ting man holder af.

Jeg er i gang med det sidste år på osteopat uddannelsen og bliver færdig til sommer i 2024. Det har været fire lærerige år som har åbnet mine øjne for en mere holistisk og sammenhængende måde at anskue kroppen på. Hvor forståelse af hvordan de forskellige systemer i kroppen påvirker hinanden og arbejder sammen går op i højere enhed, og hvad der sker når noget er ude af balance.

Min afsluttende specialeafhandling omhandler, hvilken effekt osteopatisk behandling har på efterfødselssmerter hos kvinder, som har fået fortaget kejsersnit, og hvilke forskellige problemstillinger de oplever.

Privat bor jeg sammen med min kæreste på Frederiksberg.
