Reimbursement
The public health insurance in Denmark does not cover osteopathy. There is no need for a referral from a general practitioner to be treated at our clinic.
Many insurance companies reimburse osteopathy and physiotherapy treatment partly or fully. Please get in touch with your insurance company prior to your treatment start.
‘danmark’ Private Health Insurance
If you are covered by ‘denmark’, you will receive a reimbursement for osteopathic treatment as follows:
Physiotherapy: First consultation: 133 kr
Physiotherapy: Follow-up consultations: 88 kr
Osteopathy: First consultation: 175 kr
Osteopathy: Follow-up consultations: 125 kr
Insurance companies
Most insurance companies cover osteopathy through health insurance or accident insurance. Many insurance companies also cover expenses, often partially, for physiotherapy without an agreement with the national health insurance.
Always contact your insurance company before you start your treatment.
As a rule, you pay for your treatment expenses and then send your invoice to the insurance company, which will reimburse you directly to your account. We report directly to, among others, Sygeforsikringen ‘Danmark’ and Danica, after which you receive a refund to your account. We also collaborate with, among others, PFA, where we settle directly for the insurance portion, so you only have to pay the difference.
Online booking and Cancellation
Cancellations must be made online by logging into your profile, just as you would do when booking an appointment online, at least 24 hours before the start of the treatment; otherwise, the regular fee for the treatment will usually be charged.
We do not accept bookings or cancellations via email. However, you can call our phone service on weekdays between 8 – 16 if you need help cancelling and booking a new appointment: 88 88 82 58
